Let the Right Vampire In
Prepare to be seriously frightened. Magnet, Magnolia Pictures' mini-label, has purchased the rights to Let The Right One In, by Swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist about "a lonely 12-year-old boy and his friendship with a young girl, who appears to be a vampire," says IndieWire.
This clip on YouTube directed by the demented but talented Tomas Alfredson, will chill you to the bone. The child's psychopathic stabbing of a tree in winter, the rust-colored blood on the door, a body being burned -- it's enough to give you nightmares. And this is only a clip!
If you have the temerity to read the source material by the man who's called Sweden's Stephen King, it's called Let Me In here in the U.S.
