This is a great poll to vote in. I personaly own at least 300-350 horror movies from 1922-present day. I do however feel that Hannibal Lecter is by far one of the scarriest most demented ghouls on the list. He is real life horror. I love fantasy horror(Dracula, Frankie, The Wolf Man) but Hannibal is real life horror.

dude the only reason i let good ol Michael Myers win the vs. is because dude they didn't have pinhead in there from the Hell Raiser series, but regardless Michael Myers is definitely a classic killer in the world of horror and will live on for eternity as a god of murder in popular horror films

this was another fun yet ultimately pointless poll...we horror fans each have our own personal favorites, and we're going to vote for them....just have fun with these polls and don't take them that seriously....me, I'm a fan of the "Halloween" and "Godzilla" franchises (see the other poll about monsters), so I obviously voted for Michael Myers to win...but I'm a horror fan all-around and so far I've been enjoying the first 3 days of Monsterfest....stop putting each other's favorites down and instead, unite with your fellow horror fans to defend our favorite genre against those that continue to mock and ridicule it....

Hannibal Lecter is the ultimate sicko, hands down. He is a clinical genius and being the pundit that he is, he still chooses to eat people. He doesn't just kill randomly, he kills becasue he can, because he is smarter than the rest of us. He sees that we are all just animals and he takes it to the next level. Mike Myers, the puss stops and cocks his head when you just say his name, Lecter would talk the bastard into a stupor and then eat him whole. Then in the next film Myers would have to burst alien style from lecter to even stand a chance.

i thought it was cool, good choices to pick from, i agree to disagree with micheal, i think he is awsome one of my personal favorites, but i am not to sure he could kill jason, who is my favorite!

Not that I'm really complaining, but I thought Kevin Spacey in Se7en was by far more sick, creepy, and calculating than Michael Meyers. He tortured one victim by confining him to a bed for a year, with little to no food, hygiene, or hydration. He took a photo of the victim every day to monitor his descent into a decaying, yet alive, body. Truly twisted.

WOW, Jigsaw is the sickest first of all, second of all Michael isn't, third of all, Hannibal should have lost in round 1.

I don't think it's wise to mix up the "human" psychos like Lector and Jack Torrance with the supernatural ones like Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees. Secondly, I think people seemed to vote more on body count that actual psychopathology. Michael Myers killed scores of people, but he didn't seem to delight in it as much as Lector or Max Cady or Jigsaw or "Henry" did. He was just a killing machine, like a shark; no real emotion involved. I'd say any of those characters I listed were much "sicker" than Michael.

A fun game, but I'm still convinced that Hannibal Lecter is the biggest psycho, with Jame "Buffalo Bill" Gum in a very very close second. The reason Hannibal Lecter is the biggest psycho is because of the mix of his genius and his antisocial personality disorder. He knows exactly what he's doing, and is completely in control at all times. There's no way to beat him, he'll always outsmart everyone, and it's like unleashing the most deadly kind of animal.

Apparently most of the people who voted in this do not understand what "sickest" means, because the "sickest" did not win, round for round, and the point of the poll was to vote for the "sickest", so, way to screw it up guys!

This poll really needs to be two separate polls -- those "sickos" who attempt to portray the a "real" person who is demented (norman bates, misery chick, hannibal, jigsaw, leatherface, etc.), and then have a poll of "supernatural" sickos (Jason, Freddy, Meyers, Jack Torrance[ghost inspired], etc.)-- they're like apples and oranges.

Yeah, probably should have a supernatural slashers separate from the Bates,Torrence and regular run-of-the-mill killers. Still, happy with Michael...definitely the scariest mask and music for sure. I am just glad that Jigsaw did not win. I am so sick of "Saw" and all the rip-offs!!
