Man, that Creepshow kill freaked me out as a kid. That one has always stayed with me.

the psycho shower scene is my favorite, but not the worst. hellraiser was probably the most gruesome kill, but i had to choose the creepshow cake. something about that kill is just amazing.

Can I vote for all of them? They all sound horrible and painful to be honest.

Will never, ever watch "Halloween III" because the whole plot sounds unsettling. Thus, I'm not one who likes rubber masks all that much... (Well, that and prosthetics are cooler.)

Well, my gal says that dissolving in toxic waste is the worst, but I say being skinned alive by Pinhead is far worse. Pinhead can keep the torture going into the afterlife. Prolly didn't consider that fact, eh? Anywho, I don't want to die as in any of these scenarios. Personally, I'd like to die eating pancakes. Pancakes made by my gal. Cause she makes good pancakes!

The majority of this "Worst Ways to Die" list here seemed common to everyday life. Although, I picked Hellraiser (Pinhead)...if the victim was dead it would be a different thing, but being alive, well, that would suck.

i picked getting your face smashed to a pulp...just out of curiosity...if you have seen the movie "Predator", does anyone think that the way the Predator killed those men was terrifying? Maybe it is not as scary as these movies here...but it sure scared the crap out of me...(i was 7 when i saw it)...i would think that getting shot through your chest with a laser beam (and then it burst wide open) is terrifying...just want to get some feedback...

Has everyone forgot about a little movie called scanners i think getting your head exploded by telekinesis would be a little painful dont you agree? but there are a hundred different ways to die and i love them all, HAPPY HELLOWEEN.

the worst on this list is the one from hellraiser but here are some i believe should be on the list:

CHERYL (Evil Dead) - raped by tree, possessed, shot, stabbed, and disintegrated

GLEN (Nightmare on Elm Street) - sucked into bed and blood drained from body, then re-shot out of hole

PAUL (Friday the 13th 4) - spear gun to balls

BEST WAY TO DIE:

JEFF & SANDRA (Friday the 13th 2) - double impaled during sex

The "Psycho" shower scene is classic, Marion Crane is not expecting good ole Norman to be a psycho killer. However, being skinned alive is brutal,gruesome and painful, so that is my pick.

I also picked the Hellraiser incident, but to me in all the movies, the stuff they did to some of the kids in Hostel were pretty bad. But, before that I would have to say getting eaten alive by other humans slowly would be the worst. Imagine people biting you all over your body in little mouth chunks... it would take awhile to at least bleed to death.

One way not mentioned in your poll is simply burning to death. I'm not some demented freak who gets off on this kind of stuff, but you got me thinking. I was accidently set on fire once for a very brief moment and it was TERRIFYING, I can't even imagine how agonizing of a death this would be. What is really horrific is the fact that this form of execution has actually taken place. I'm sure Joan of Arc would have chosen lethal injection, had she been given a choice!!

Friday the 13th Part 8 the boxer puts forth such a great effort to take Jason down and then he takes just one punch and gets his head knocked off.

MICHAEL MYERS SCARES THE HELL OUT OF ME

okay after carefully reviewing all different aspects of this unusual question but fun anyway my minds made up that the creepy uncle thing from hellraiser has to be the worst way to go but in all fairness to be dissolved in toxic waste is still pretty damn bad so hellraiser and friday the 13th are the top two in my book!

I think getting skinned alive would be the worst death ever...but remember in Evil Dead when the chick got raped by the tree? I would want that to kill me it would hurt so bad!!!

Skinned alive bad. Eaten alive a chunk at a time(Hostel 2) much worse! Also the movie Wrong Turn 2 is filled with a number of ways I would not want to go.Theres a big paper shredder thing, the mutant hill folks use as their own personal human hamburger grinder. Care for flies with that burger? You get them. Free! Gross is an understatement.

Being shot through the head with a nailgun would suck majorly (Toolbok Murders),being chopped into third by a fence would suck even worse (Final Destination 2)and being impaled throught the eyeball with a ladder would suck even worse than that! (Final Destination 2).

watch 2001 maniacs, the way the ppl die in that movie is insane. They took a pole and shoved it up a guys butt and out his mouth. Another guy got crushed to death. It's insane how everyone dies.

Any death on this list would be preferable to watching my lover die-I love my guy and I couldn't stand to watch him die. I also have to say that the shower sequence and our boy Norman Bates seem tame compared to all these other deaths.

I have to go with the drill in phantasm ,that would just suck to have something like that happen.

The Feast (2005) a kind of Horror/Comedy movie, during the Intro one of the guys had a comment, Horrible death in 70 mins. During the Movie, I counted down. My friends disagree but its true, The worst friggin death ever.

A heart attack. The old guy had a heart attack while the friggin dudes were attacking. Worst death ever and most likely to happen than the above. Which brings us to reality.

Getting "wishboned" by two huge sharks at once, a la Sam Jackson and Michael Rapport in DEEP BLUE SEA would suck, but as far as reality goes, Jigsaw's slow, agonizing death from a brain tumor has to be the worst way realistically you could die.

"Halloween" is my favorite holiday, so I happen to be biased about the "Halloween" series. "Michael Myers rocks!" So I picked the snakes and bugs; I think the most horrible way is being sucked through a tiny hole. (I'm watching "Alien: Resurrection.")
