My Scariest Ghost Story

Ghost_2 Back when I lived in Buffalo, I used to cross the Peace Bridge into Ft. Erie, a border town with a creepy old fort which supposedly was home to ghosts of soldiers who were killed there during the War Of 1812. I never saw a ghost there, perhaps because I always got there during the day when the sun was shining. The winds were still and there was ice cream for sale.

Buffalo itself was not immune to the ravages of war: it was burned to the ground by British forces on December 30, 1813. One Christmas, I was sharing a flat with a photographer pal.  He was gone with his gal pal, and I was there alone in the sparsely furnished bedroom with a lumpy mattress, a 13" TV, a dresser, a wooden kitchen chair, and a lamp. I'd fallen asleep while watching the usual news of fires and mayhem in downtown Buffalo.

And then....

Sometime around 3 a.m., I felt an odd...presence, so odd that I started from my sleep. I looked to my left. I felt the heavy pain of the ghost before I even saw him. And what I saw was a young man dressed in the garb of an American soldier in the War of 1812. His face was gray and ashen, and he was breathing the heavy breaths of someone about to die.  His face and body were bloodied badly -- he was hard to look at.

When he looked straight at me with haunted black eyes, I ran the hell out of there. Panicked, I put the lights on in the kitchen and stayed there for about an hour -- until the roommate got home. Then, and only then, did I return to bed where the lamp burned brightly all night long. I slept in spurts, often keeping an eye the hard, old chair that was, thankfully, without the sad and wounded ghost.

I lived in an old old house and along with it came with the story of old black lady that still was present there and played tricks on the people who lived in it.

One day I decided to bake a lb cake and I usually take out all the ingredients and place them on the table to just put everything together with ease. It's also a way to know you have everything you need to bake.

I pulled the only six eggs out that I had and the milk and butter and left a few minutes for them to get room temp. When I came back I started to break all the eggs and I was missing one. I looked everywhere for that egg. I left to go have a smoke and ponder(perplexed I was)It just showed up right where my bowl was-it reappeared. Then the ceiling fan came on all by itself and I was alone-except for that lady. I just know it was a real ghost spirit. I was very chilled.

My favorite movie is the first Halloween. It shows the beginning of Michael Myers' madness. It's the coolest movie ever.

I have always been a fan of the halloween movies, and I'm probably the biggest scaredy cat there is..lol..but i love scary movies..Anyway..When I was 15yrs old me and some friends went out to this old abandoned Church were no one went because it was said to be a place where devil worshippers go and that always kinda freaked me and my friends out..so we thought that we would drive out there on Halloween and hide in the bushes to see if these demonic people really did go in there..We finally get out there and it was me and 3 girls and 2 of our guy friends with us, and we waited there for about 45min and we see this car pulling up by the Church and these people are getting out with black robes on and they have flashlights and they go in the Chuch..We slowly walk up to the Church and kinda look through a window and see these people setting around in a circle and then we see this ghostly spirit come up between the people in a circle and it looked like a dragon...We ran the heck outta there and about a year later someone ended up burning the Church down..so we don't know what was going on there..it was freaky!!!!
