The Invasion Spoiled
Greetings from the Emerald City where, if you have never been, the crows croak from the top of the Space Needle to herald the break of day. Perhaps they ate the roosters. It's a pretty sweet town, snagged by Romance movies but not enough horror. If they do one here (and they should) they might take inspiration from these screeching wetbeaks.
While we wait for our Seattle-based frightener (which, hidden bonus question of the week, would be called what?) we'll have to settle for The Invasion which, we are given to understand, is a super mess. That's a shame. A devastating preview resides here by our spiritual kinfolk at bloody-disgusting.com.
The word "here" above is a link! How do the colors of our links work for you with the new background? report!
Sneak your Seattle horror movie suggestions into the comment box below. Something to do with coffee, perhaps? My hotel has taps with hot water, cold water and coffee. It's a three tap town!

Clouds of gray and purple hues with edges of pale yellow filled the morning Seattle sky. It looked like a giant healing bruise hanging over the city. The shrill cries of crows from unseen rooftops and the silhouette of the Space Needle piercing the skyline, causing the clouds to weep in a slow cold drizzle, gave the day an otherworldly feel. Spits of rain fell on the windshield of bus 51 as it pulled to a sullen stop, disembarked it's equally sullen passengers and then hissed, emitting a bark and a screech and continued on it's way through the rain soaked city streets. As the bus bounced and tousled entering the stream of traffic, a newspaper left behind by a hurried rider, fell to the grimey metal grated floor. The headline earnestly screamed, "BARISTA'S BEWARE! SEATTLE STALKER CLAIMS SIXTH!"
the colors and links look good! :)
I dig the new layout, but the color of the link tends to blend in... but I can see it if I look super closely.
The Invasion, eh? Excuse me whilst I throw up. I don't know of a good horror film based in Seattle or a title, but if you've ever seen the SuperSonics play, that's pretty scary. Zoinks!
why make invasion......invasion of the body snatchers 56 and 78 were both good but we dont need another version.
the lay out is ok but the links are hard to read, maybe it would be better if they were bold or something.
I have no problem reading the layout.
I think this version was pretty unnecessary myself. The only reason I'd want to see it would be for Daniel Craig. It sounds terrible.
Horror in Seattle? Doesn't 'Sleepless in Seattle' count enough? Yuck.
Sleepless in Seattle? Gee, thanks Court. Now I'm going to have nightmares for a week. You know, I remember when that film hit premium cable and it was on ALL the time. Then it was on regular cable and again, on ALL the time. Yuck is right.
