Todd, that was more awesome than anything I have ever experienced on a Monday at work. Paul W.S. Anderson should probably start licking his wounds for the beating this film is going to hand his not too great AvP. While I had moments of enjoyment with the first film, this looks to have brought the real reason I love both franchises back, the freaking blood and gore! Holy crap! NSFW 100%! Wow I can't wait to see this, I will be there on Christmas day!
The only thing that would make this better would be Sigourney Weaver in her underwear. Holy Wow!!
looks worth a look. ill wait till it comes out and read some reviews before i make any decisions to see it or not, or what i think of it.
Aliens and Predators battling it out on earth for a second time just makes these films seem like some lame, cheesy version of Critters (and Critters was cheesy mind you). Get this versus crap out of theaters unless you can make something worth my time. These two icons should be duking it out on some big badass spaceship (and like Cookie Joe said) with Ripley somehow involved.
But I do give kudos for going R-rated this time around. By the way, did I catch a glimpse of that uber-cool Alien-Preadator hybrid from the first AVP? If so, that is awesome.
