I See Horror in Unexpected Places

Skinwalkers_subwayAs promised, here's a snapshot of one of the Skinwalkers posters on the NYC subway.

We thought it might be a cool idea if our readers, that's you, goatlings, might send us photos from time to time of horror posters or images in their natural setting.  You know, bus stops, billboards and stuff in your hometown.

We're not set up yet to have you embed them as comments, and who knows what you would put there if allowed free reign!  Shudder!  Go ahead and mail your pics to monsterfestpics@gmail.com and we'll post the best.

One horror poster pic is worth one thousand terrifying words in the Necronomicon!  Click below to see what happened when these folks turned around.

Photos by Todd Ravenface (but soon by you).

Skinwalkers_subway_empty_4They fled its dread presence!

Enjoying the golden arm hooks (quizzes, photo requests, etc.) for engaging AMC Monsterfest blog fans. Keep up the great work! I'd also love to read a little more from Ms. Shaw(hope I'm remembering her name correctly) I always feel like she is in such a hurry...

As much as I would love to take part in this, film posters or advertisements just don't happen around these parts. Think more along the lines of John Deere and Chevy Trucks (both of which I'm not a fan of). If there were film advertisements it would be of Larry the Cable Guy. There are probably more people working in the AMC offices than in my entire town (I'm sure of that). A whole 400 people. Man, I sure do miss the city. I'm pretty sure they filmed "Deliverance" around here. Hahaha.

Anyways, thanks for sharing that cool poster, Todd. Although a PG-13 "Skinwalkers" makes absolutely no sense to me. I'm thinking it's going to be as bad (if not worse) than Wes Craven's "Cursed".

Caw,

I reckon you can send a pic of anything creepy. Scarecrow, weird pickled things in convenience store jars, gathering of crows. I'm sure it would be very interesting and certainly unlike anything we get to see here in the cube farm. Snap away and send away.

Hey AX, glad to know my presence was missed these past couple of days. The workload at the Horror Department can be... scary. But I'm back today with a good one, I think. Who knows - maybe I would have enjoyed reading Beowulf in high school more with Lara Croft as a protagonist?
