I suppose you can't tell us but I'll ask anyway, are you coming back next year? I can't imagine Mad Men without Roger and his dry sense of humor!
Dear Mr. Slattery:
How could a high-class guy like Roger make such a crude remark to Joan ("piece of ass" comment)?
I was highly offended and I'll bet she was too!
The scene where you threw up was too much!
Hello John,
Congratulations on this amazing show! Matt Weiner has really produced a gem that is unlike any television show out there. The work you do, as well as the rest of the cast and crew, shows in each episode. I know I speak for other Mad Men fans when I say we can't wait to learn more about these complex and interesting characters. The 1960s were such a unique time period in American history. This show exemplifies that time period by providing viewers a closer look into the lives of these characters and the problems they face that, coincidentally, people still face today.
I was excited to hear that your wife, Talia, was also going to be guest starring on Mad Men. You both are two very talented actors. I remember she also appeared on K Street with you yet your storylines never connected, therefore you didn’t share any scenes together. Now that you and Talia starring on Mad Men, what was that like to work together for the first time on screen?
The episode in particular call "Long Weekend," when Roger experienced a heart attack, had some of the finest acting I've seen. The fact that you and your wife on screen are also married in real life just adds to the richness of the characters and the show as a whole. And it certainly shows between the two of you. I hope we get to take a closer glimpse in to the lives of the Sterlings next season. :)
One more question. :) Will you be submitting any of your episodes for Emmy consideration? You truly deserve it!
Again, thank you for everything. It is a joy watching you act. Your talent and dedication shines through in every role.
I am looking forward to the new season of Mad Men. My hope is that this unique show lives on for many more seasons.
Keep up the great work John! Best of luck with everything and best wishes!
Sincerely,
Shelly Guisinger
P.S. Sorry for the couple typos! ;) :)
Hello There Mr. Slattery, I've heard so many actors comment on how much more fun it is to play stinkers than to play nice people. What is your take on that? I know you play one (a stinker!) better than any actor I've ever seen! Keep up the good (BAD!?) work! Can't wait till next summer for more of Roger's shenanigans!
You created the most memorable up-chuck scene since Linda Blair in the Exorcist! How many times did you have to rehearse it?
Hi John - You're such a wonderful actor! My friend Shelly (who posted above) and I have admired your work for many years. She was lucky enough to see you on Broadway in Rabbit Hole and was blown away by your performance. What has been your favorite scene or scenes as Roger so far? We miss you when you're not on the show!
Meryl

Hello John, Just wondering--was that a hose rigged up with pistachio colored something or other--or did you get a really BIG bonus--to do the upchuck scene? (You're a great actor, but...there is a limit to authenticity, right?)
Oh Roger...say you will be back for season 2???
Roger is one of my favorite characters on the show, and I hope we'll be seeing plenty of him next season. My favorite episode was Roger's transformation in the hospital after his heart attack.
Roger IS my favorite character on the show. So Mr. Slattery are you putting on an act when you turn on the charm or is that truly part of your character? Love you babe, keep up the fantastic work. And PLEASSSSSSSSSSE come back next season!
This is the only part that you have done that I actually like!
A matter of fact I really love you in MM.
Please return!
Do not change a thing- Roger is deliciously slimy!
John,
Roger’s premature return to the office after his heart attack, and his attempt to prove that he could still eat, drink, and smoke with the guys, resulted in a second heart attack. And it looks as if Roger needs to cool his relationship with Joan.
Since these activities have defined Roger’s persona so far, what can be done in future episodes to maintain Roger’s appeal to the viewer?
Don’t change him too much! We love the charming, depraved rogue!
Mr. Slattery,
With the heartattacks and the confusion between Don and Cooper, is there really more material for your character on the show? Because Rodger's humour is pretty funny and up to par with Don's.
Hope you come back,
Keenan Blanchard
Mr. Slattery -
My husband & I are HUGE fans of the show & especially your character, Roger. I do hope you will be coming back. I was wondering why I didn't see any photos of you at the cast party???? (at least not the ones posted on this website) Can't wait for Season #2!!

Hey John! You are such a good actor and your gorgeous too! You got everything going for you! I just want to say that when you were on Desperate Housewives I had the biggest crush on you (and still do) and even though you were kind of the villian you were definately very charming! It would be so great if you commented back or watch the youtube.com video I made of you. Just go to www.youtube.com and type your name in the search and it should be at the top of the page. Thanks John.
and leave a comment if you watch the video!
