Many thanks to whomever worked on this site. It seems to remember me when I "sign in"...that's a great improvement.
Something else...if you do make a post, wait a while then go back to where you posted, then click on your "refresh" button and your post should appear.
(Maybe you all knew that already, so please excuse the preaching to the choir.) But this site seems to be running much smoother. Thanks again!
Yes, rozsie, I've noticed all one has to do now to "sign in" is click the sign in area and no more having to type in everything on the form.
That's a definite improvement. And that refresh bit you mentioned....I did know about it, but thanks for the reminder anyway.
Also, someone posted awhile back that you can also hit F5 to refresh which was a new one on me. I just do whichever one is the easiest at the moment. I love it when Maddicts post shortcuts because I am somewhat computer lliterate, but I have a loooong way to go to expert geekdom.
I think when I and others were having such a time with our avatar changing a week or so ago must have been when the new methods were being set up by TPTB at AMC. Things seem to be working great now anyway.
Yup - i noticed it when my generic gray icon had magically been replaced with jon hamm ;-)
Hey SCFan and j9mac-so glad to see your avatars are back. I missed seeing them. I have been gone for a while and was glad to come back to my favorite site and see that it is running much more smoothly. Hope all is well with everyone!

I wonder who I can write to. None of my blogs appear on this site and my comments appear sporadically or take a week to show up. Other people's blogs appear a week late too!
