Jon Hamm

How wonderful to have a man that looks like a grown-up! I'm only 26 but I miss the days of Burt Lancaster and Robert Mitchum! Real, masculine, mature men. George Clooney was all alone before Jon Hamm came along. How wonderful they are!

Hidey Mary!

Welcome....and I couldn't agree more.

Add Sterling Hayden....not a typically handsome star, but oh so masculine and a great actor.

Also, Gregory Peck....sexy Atticus!

Mr. Hayden was also an author. His book "Wanderer" is a great read.

I agree wholeheartedly as well. It's great to see an actor with a commanding presence. Jon Hamm has got it. I loved Gregory Peck and Cary Grant and Gary Cooper....and Paul Newman. Oh I could go on and on.

"Commanding presence" is exactly how to describe Jon Hamm, Glamara! I guess I'm kind of stuck on the all time greats, including Sterling Hayden, too. Can't say I've been a big fan of George Clooney, though. I prefer Russell Crowe. Matt Damon seems to be coming right along, too.

BUT Jon Hamm on MM is at the top of my list!

p.s. Glad to see you got your avitar back SCfan!

So right, everyone, JH can't be beat, no way no how....and yes, rozsie, George Clooney has it in the looks department, but I can't get past all the head bobbing....look up, look down, look up, look down....I don't get it.

And I agree, Matt Damon is definitely coming along just fine, reminds me of a young Robert Wagner....especially their smiles.

One that seems to be popular that I don't get the attraction is Matthew McConaughy (sp?)....he reminds me of a combination of Paul Newman and Marlon Brando...but, I don't think he's that great an actor, seems to play the same part in every movie he's in. Not to say anything against either Paul Newman or Brando....both hot hot hot....esp. Newman....lordy.

Cheers to Jon Hamm for showing his wry side once again. On the debut of TV Guide Network's Curb: The Discussion, the Golden Globe-winning actor best known as the dead-serious Don Draper (or is that Dick Whitman?) on Mad Men gamely analyzed the behavior of Larry David as part of a post-Curb Your Enthusiasm celebrity panel. He revealed he's "not a fan" of breast implants before joking he's got them, and "my nipples are just as sensitive as they were before the implants."

However, this usually backfires as reviewers are wise to the tactic and warn the public that the film may not be worth seeing and the films often do poorly as a result. online fax trial
