When does the next series 4 begin.
Look for any time between mid-July and mid-August.
THAT'S Crap! they only made a few episodes and expect us to wait nine months for more...this after AMC decided to take forever to renew for season three. They should be making 30 episodes per year at least. That way people get a chance to get interested and stay interested. The people in my office just started to like it and they have to wait (which they wont) and will just lose interest and not come back to watch again. This is just like the Boondocks they could never get productions together and the ratings sucked as a result.

How short are american's attention span if they can't wait a short time for great television like Mad Men?

When it's a 9 month wait, it can seem like forever ESPECIALLY when you're waiting for more of a quality show so much better than most dreck on the air.
Is there any update on when Season 4 will begin?
This is definitely the best show on the air. All the seasons have been so good to see. The show has the best actors in it. I am definitely one of the biggest fans.

It's interesting – - in the first interview scene, the shots of the reporter facing Don mostly feature Don's back on the lower left, the persisting image of the series, with the one-legged reporter in the much more public position; and then, in the episode's closing shot, we have Don in the previous reporter's position, facing the audience and the Wall Street interviewer, his artifice on full display, while the reporter's back turns the tables on the show's dominant image.
Great analysis, as always, looking forward to the rest, though the idea of having to churn each review out after 11:00 P.M. in time for a Monday morning appearance sounds absolutely exhausting.
