Fashion
I have a "real" cheetah 60's peacoat made for Melissa Hayden. She was the New York City prima ballerina from 1955- 1973. Would make for beautiful fashion, I don't know how to contact the show so.......

Sorry that I can't answer your question, but I do have a fun fact about the fashion on the show! Personally I love vintage makeup and fashion, and I think it's so glamorous. The makeup artists for Mad Men capture that vintage style by using Besame Cosmetics, which produce only vintage-inspired makeup (red lipstick and all!). If you love this look, their page is on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/BesameCosmetics?ref=ts
Check it out if you want to know more about vintage makeup!

oops!! sorry for the double post :/
I watched a "making of..." type of segment on the fashion of Mad Men. The designer said they are always looking for good vintage clothing. It's worth seeking out the right person at the network. If I can find out anything I'll post back here. Vincent M
I found the costume shop tour video here:

The designer, Janie Bryant, says, "we LOVE donations!"
I hope this helps.
Hello friends! I'm a doll fashion designer and a big fan of MAD MEN.
I made several fashions-reproductions of Mad Men women's fashions for Barbie size dolls :)
I'm selling Joan's blue dress on eBay right now, here's the link:

(Pen-necklace, bracelet and watch are included)
More MAD MAN fashions' reproductions (Joan, Betty and Peggy dresses) will appear in the March/April 2010 issue of Haute Doll magazine!
Don’t miss it out!
I'm going to sell them on eBay later :)
