What did you mean by city mouse and country mouse?

That's a reference to Hilton's ad campaign that he wanted Don's perspective before Connie made him an offer to take on his business. Don responded that most people don't want to think of hotel rooms and mice at the same time. (or something like that.)

Hi Rozie - you're on my list of favorite Maddicts as well. ;o) I really thought they would bring Freddy back in Season 3, but maybe he is busy composing his next symphony.

Thanks for jumping in on the Country Mouse, City Mouse clarification, Ritt1. The scene shows Roger standing there next to Don saying "I wonder if we will ever be in a place like this again" - City Mouse (Roger living a rich life in the city). Don's standing there next to Roger saying "I never saw myself in a place like this" - Country Mouse ( Don living a poor life on a farm).

This was probably was discussed somewhere in the 2000 comment thread of Season 3. Cheers.

SCFan-Roger really does have the best lines! My favorite too, is the one about getting three sheets to the wind....

I really did like Joan's line in "Guy Walks into an Advertising Agency" while talking to Don in the waiting room..

"One minute you are on top of the world and the next some secretary is running over you with a lawnmower." I laugh every time I see that scene.

"My name is Peggy and I want to smoke marijuana" Sorry if that is the not word for word quote, but it's still my fave among faves.

Roger has the best one liners than anyone on the show. He does it with effortless style and always hit his mark. But my favorite from Season 3 finale was when Roger told Don, "You're not good at relationships because you don't value them." That sentence seemed to sum up Don's entire life and throw it back at him. The only problem was that Don realized this too late and lost everything. I always surprised by the high power perception that Roger has for other people flaws, but he can't identify his own. He also doesn't want anyone to point them out to him. Remember when he said he stopped loving Mona when she started criticizing him. That's what I like about this show. All of these characters are such complex beings trying to exist/work with each other. It creates these wonderful storylines. Roger is the most interesting/charming character on the show.

The best quote from season 3 was when Peggy said, "I am so high right now". Or something like that.

Anyway, hi everyone! I'm new here. I've been a fan of the show since it started, and I'm so excited for season 3 to come out on DVD so I can watch it all over again. I'm very excited for season 4. I can't believe it's going into 4 seasons already. How time flys! Anyway, glad to know there are lots of fans out there just like me!
