Marathon? Next time on TV?

I have a friend who hasn't seen the third season yet, and in order to convince him not to pirate it it'd be nice to know when the next time it will be on TV in a marathon type form will be.

Anyone have any info?

Lord have mercy, where does the time go? I can't believe we are back to begging AMC for re-runs and marathons again. It seems to me just a moment ago I was so excited to be watching the first episode of the third season, and now look at me....suffering withdrawal pangs 'cause there is no Sunday night Mad Men episode to watch.

It would not be so bad if I did not know full well that the long winter of our discontent will be followed by an even longer spring of outright crankyness leading into a short summer of intense disgruntlement as we Maddicts wait for AMC to alleviate our desperate craving. For some reason known only to themselves, AMC prefers to lock all copies of this wonderful drama away in a vault and throw away the key.

Why can't we enjoy a nice long winter, spring and summer endlessly reviewing Seasons 1, 2 and 3? Why, I ask you, why?

Reruns of Seasons 1, 2 and 3, I'm glad you asked!
Hello Zerelda, Pinkpen here reporting for Mad Men withdrawal. Let's hope "the powers that be" hear your suggestions and follow through. They say time flies when you're having fun!

Hello Maddicts, Great idea Zerelda!

Why doesn't AMC start a new channel, the "Mad Men," channel, which would show episodes, and features, non-stop, every day, all day long, hour after hour, endlessly, until our eyes bleed?

As it is, it's hard to catch all the episodes! One week I missed the opening theme because I was driving my kid home from his High School play in which he starred. ZZZZzzzz... Can you imagine? I sure let him have it for that!

Come on, AMC, get on the ball!

If you have it, you can try On Demand thru your cable company. All Season 3 episodes are currently there.

Not all of them --- just the last 3 or 4.

I wish that they'd make spin-off shows. Maybe have Freddy starting his life over as a Sales Manager of a Cleveland radio station as he battles to stay sober.....or Sal as he starts his new advertising career as an openly gay man in San Francisco.......or Guy trying to play golf without his foot.

great topic for a new thread...SPIN-OFFS!!!! I LOVE IT!

Mind if I start it???

I agree....

Please, Please, AMC....why not run S1, S2 and S3 for us during our agony until S4 starts....we're certainly a guaranteed audience.....sell all new ads and make $$ off it....what can be bad about that?

Of course, that would cut into the revenues for all the DVD's, right? Well, there you go.....

SIGH............
