This one was tough. Did our best, though. Here you go.

And your best is, as always, brilliant. You two never disappoint. Thanks, Kevin....gonna miss your humor during the looooong winter of our discontent. Oh, well, at least we have one more performance of the ADT players to look forward to.

Not to be pedantic, Kevin, but fillet of sole is spelled with two 'ls' (because it's seafood) as opposed to, say, filet mignon.

user-pic

@full- wrong, filet of sole is correct and I want to see your credentials

user-pic

Thanks for pointing out the mistake, professor. Boy do I have egge on my face.

user-pic

Brilliant ADT, Kevin
Thank you

user-pic

No worries sab. Both are technically correct spellings for a small cut of meat or fish. It's true that fillet is typically used on American menus for fish (filet is simply the French spelling, and is thus most commonly reserved here for French dishes (pour son example: le filet mignon). That said, I've seen Filet of sole on menus as well.

Since we're speaking of style issues, seems odd that the good professor would qualify his comment as he does. Pedantic is exactly what you intended to be, sir (or madam). Why else would you mention it?

I don't mind a well-intended nudge when I'm wrong, especially if the point of debate is relevant. But being corrected publicly for something so silly, so inconsequential, and under such pretense is irksome.

user-pic

Not to be pedantic, Kevin, but I believe his correct title is "Fullofitprofessor".

user-pic

Un professeur pedant? Mon Dieu, c'est impossible!

Kevin, I swear that's the last time I will read ADT while eating or drinking. Nearly left this life choking on chips, not cool. You people are dangerously funny!

user-pic

My personal favorite line.
"Betty: First on the shopping list: hog fat."

user-pic

Excellent, any chance the monte christo sandwich comment was a nod to our Monty/Monte?

default userpic

Not to be pedantic, but it is a bit crude to say "chips" when the preferred term is "filet of potato."

user-pic

Okay, that's pretty funny, full.

user-pic

pommes chips or pommes frites?

user-pic

It was a tortilla chip, actually. And "choking on chips" is just so alliterative, don't you think?

Did I imagine it, or did Miss Peggy Cheap-Lunch do Duck Phillips for a sandwich?

user-pic

Peggy loves herself some Pay King Duck.

And THAT, my friends, is why I avoid puns whenever possible in ADT.

Funny, K & K....and yes, as z and others say...we're really going to miss your hilarious re-writes every week.

Thanks for all the laughs!

One more episode to go, this season sure flew by.

sigh.....

user-pic

Wow Kevin, you guys are really good! Like professional good.
Do you write for any TV comedians?

I really laughed hard!

user-pic

Thanks Trotsky. No, we just do this in our spare time, which is why it never goes up until the end of the week...
