The infamous pink elephant - where else is it found?
Here is your challenge...We know a pink elephant was on the mantle at Pete's mom's house. Where else does a pink elephant appear?

Well, this is intriguing...I assume you mean a real pink elephant, and not merely something hallucinated by one of our Mad Men in an alcoholic stupor?
I do remember seeing that pink elephant in the scene and it has been in other scenes, but right now, off the top of my head, I can't remember where. Help us out other Maddicts!!!
No, it wasn't an alcohol induced elephant! Ha Ha
Does a pink squirrel count? You know that popular drink in the 60's whose cousin was the grasshopper.
Cheers.
Give us a hint, Schmulie. Pretty please!
Schmulie,
Here’s a wild guess!
In “The Mountain King” (2-12), Anna is reading Tarot cards to Don. The cards are spread out on a table. One card (using the imagination a bit) looks like an elephant with a raised trunk. The elephant is more reddish-orange than pink, however.
Is this it, or am I crazy?
The Pink Elephant in every room is:... drum roll.....
Matt Weiner.
I think it was stolen with the credenza from SC.
The last I saw it, Trudy was holding it after removing it from the shelf (per Pete's mother's demand) after Pete's father died.
Is it somewhere in Pete and Trudy's apartment?
come on! tell, please?
I'm guessing in MW's office?
Nice guesses everyone, but no dice! O.K., here are some hints: Betty is in the scene, but it doesn't take place in her home. It is someone else's home. And, it is before season three.
Helen Bishop's place?
Or, Francine's in the nursery?
Still not the right answer! O.K., two more clues: You are in the right "neighborhood". And Betty wears a shirtdress and cardigan. he he he!
Then it must be Helen Bishop's house when she was babysitting for Glenn the Barber?
And...DeepDish is the winner! It was on the coffee table at Glenn's house (they were watching tv). Very good!
In a scene from “New Amsterdam,” Betty is wearing a shirtwaist dress and cardigan and is walking Polly down the street in the “neighborhood.” Helen Bishop’s former husband is at Helen’s front door demanding to be let in to see the children. He asks Betty if he can use her phone. Betty refuses, saying she can’t let a stranger into her house, turns around and walks quickly back up the street with Polly.
Is this it, Schmulie? Where is the pink elephant? (My DVD set of Season 1 has been borrowed, so I am relying on a very faulty memory, especially where pink elephants are concerned.)
Congratulations, Deep Dish! It all comes back to me now. I was sort of on the right track, but still had a long way to go.
Thanks for a really fun project, Schmulie.
(Forgot to refresh before my previous post. Sorry)
