Betty is angry.
If you saw the endong of this most recent episode you could tell Betty was angry as she looked at Don being honored. She was not upset his receivng an awrd, but she probably knows that he is still up to his adulterous ways.
Usually when she gets this angry something dramatic happens. Don had better be ready!

This isn't about any episode in particular; just want to know who does the research. Talking about Peggy Olson. Olson is not the typical spelling of a Norwegian or Dane. It would be Olsen or Olesen.
And, they are usually not Catholic. So, what is her Mother's nationality since during those times, if you married a Catholic, you had to sign off on having the children of the marriage raised in the Catholic faith.
More recently, re the German nanny - Gudrun is a Scandinavian name for the most part. German would more likely be Brunhilda, Berta or Olga. Just looking at the character development. Every other facet of the times seems so typical and correct.
Hi brashboy!
I agree with you...you could see Betty seething at the the SC dinner!
I posted on the main episode thread that I wonder what Betty will do with this info. and when.
I don't mean to minimize what Don/Dick has done...but, I think he will be able to explain what Betty found, for the following reasons:
1. He had a horrible life, joined the Army, and went to war just to escape.
2. I don't know why, but, he came up with the plan to steal Don Draper's identity, probably thought he must have had a better life. Don Draper was dead. Dick could have also died, had he not been found on time. Maybe he figured, "what the hell, I'll either die, or have a new and better life".
3. Once he realized Don Draper had a wife, (Anna) he took care of her financially, and divorced her so he could marry Betty, and continued to care for Anna.
Again, I don't understand his logic. I don't think what he did was completely moral, but, I don't think it was illegal.
I can't imagine what it feels like to be in so much despair, that you have no other choice.
Betty is shown packing a bag in the preview. What do you want to bet that she's on her way to California to meet Anna?
Hi Nokomis,FL!
I wondered about that. Or is she packing Don's bag? Or is she going away with Henry? Hmmmm...
Betty's packing her own bag. After opening "Pandora's box" she's got a lot of unfocused anger. All of what she found is before she and Don were married (except maybe the deed to Anna's home.) She has to think about things. In any event, I bet she's going back to Grandpa Gene's house in PA. She is his estate's executrix after all and a lot of that has to be done in the home state.
Betty also tried kicking out Don and that didn't work out very well. He just took off without telling her where he was for a few weeks. This time she's leaving.
Hi Ritt1!
You're probably right. She needs to go to her old home to settle the sale of the house anyway. This may be her excuse to Don for going away without telling him what she found out.
I like the Pandora's box reference...so true!
Re Denver:
I´m from Sweden, where the name Olson is a common one. Olsen is probably more common in Denmark but many scandinavians who emigrated to America adopted the ending with "son" (Anderson, Henderson etc). I have never heard of the name "Olesen". Gudrun is not a common name in Scandinavia, it could very likely be a German name aswell. Brunhilda is like a comic name of a typical German Girl, just like "Inga from Sweden". American films tend to mix the Scandinavian, German and Dutsch names, maybe because they are very similar (and not all scandinavians are blond, mind you...).
Betty was angry (and I posted it) in a previous episode when she was telling Don how her best friend's husband was cheating on her. Don, of course, was totally oblivious to the hatred on her face directed towards him as she told him the story.
The teacher is a whack and I hope she gives it to him good.
The school teacher has the pot on the stove ready for a good old fashioned bunny boil. She's already stalking him on the train. And I guess Carla is having an affair as well. She's the only one left in the house who might have someone calling and hanging up?
I used to think that Cheap cheap uggs UK were the ugliest I had ever seen. You can wear Mini ugg classic tall boots On Saleon the coldest day and your feet will be warm or you can wear them on the hottest day and your feet won't sweat.
