"Are you having anything"

Is this the first time Don seemed to respect Betty? The look on Sally D's face was priceless. Is there hope for Don...Has coming clean to Betty exorcised the demons???? In the end as the neighbor said "And who are you supposed to be!!!!!"

...why are we analyzing EVERY line from the show?

user-pic

@Dry--Because we can?

I agree. He is now Betty and Betty is now Don. I keep posting this.

user-pic

You keep posting the same thing Loves we know. And you were Betty and now your Joan see my dear.

A-coop, Don I think did respect Betty at one time but she never reciprocated. Now i think that they will be a good family once again.

I see Troll1 is still stalking me. Uh Troll1: Don has no respect for Betty or any other woman. Just having that teacher duck down in the car showed me he had no respect for her. What a lowlife loser for having her do that and especially for bringing her to his home.

"Has coming clean to Betty exorcised the demons????"

Hardly. Betty still didn't know about Suzanne sitting in the car at the curb waiting for a wild time in Norwich. And whatever sent him to Midge's bed is still there.

Sure, Don may respect Betty much more as a person but he respects most women he meets, such as Joan and Annabelle. Betty doesn't realize her real problem started sometime between Don's telling Anna how happy he was after having met Betty and S1E1. She no longer makes Don "happy." She doesn't resonate with him at the level Rachel, Midge or Suzanne do.

Ritt 1, stay tuned for episodes 12 and 13 to find out who's right about Betty and Don.

Oh yes!!!! I know...... Dissecting every line....But they are so telling.......Is anyone happy on this show? Meg Tily - "I don't know any happy people...What does it feel like?"

Dissecting everyline, if you ignore the time we waste on it, makes some sense: the dialog in this show is very carefully constructed. There are clues about the future imbedded in them.

Clearly we're at a pivotal place in the marriage. On the one hand, Don no longer has to sneak off and behave as Dick with another woman (that, I believe is much of the motivation - second only to libido). But there's still the little matter regarding the fact that this marriage is built on a lie. This could really go either way.

Really Loves , you think.....
