When I type the name Adam Rowe at IMDB, it shows that he was an actual behind the camera production assistant in the art department for the first season of Mad Men. so it looks like it was a little insider easter egg from the film crew.

Great catch, Adam! Wow, that's fantastic, and the real Adam Rowe now has some cushy bragging rights-how many of us will ever be able to say we were written into a Mad Men episode?

Aww, I was hoping for another Burt Peterson "who-the-hell-is-this-guy-and-why-haven't-we-seen-him-before?" moment :)

I'm surprised that Paul doesn't fill that role. Didn't he say in an earlier episode that he's been there for six years? He's the only one of the "Hard C/K Crew" (Campbell, Cosgrove, Crane and Kinsey) who hasn't moved up to some level of management. I wonder if that bothers him.

I wondered if it was another way Don was telegraphing that he didn't like the conversation, and was mentally checking out, much like he did when Lane called a meeting, to cover expenses and expense accounts. Only, Don was able to leave that time, though he couldn't this time, during the reorganization meeting.

And so, Don couldn't leave, so he mentally checked out of the meeting, by scribbling on his notepad, and I think Guy noticed it.

Somewhere in the maze of posts on the main page, I think, someone had posted a link to still shots of the episode. One of them was Don doodling. It looked like stars and part of a flag.

As to Who is Adam Rowe? One could just as well ask: Who is John Galt?
