i'm hoping for a demotion to the switchboard - she's really a talented actress - steals the scene with her quirky facial expressions!

If you'll allow that she creates comic relief when she "saddles" the office with her "sad" attempt at secretarial work, and that she belongs at the '"lois" level, then you'd have her role encapsulated!

Kind of like if you took "Dopey" away from the other six dwarfs, we'd miss her antics.

They can't get rid of Lois! She is Sterling Cooper's secret weapon. I can't wait to see what she does to save the day the next time St. John Powell and his evil cronies try to dethrone Roger and Don. The woman deserves a raise and her own office. Perhaps Paul could be her male secretary....he obviously has nothing to do other than clean his pipes and strum his guitar.

She has to stay! SC needs that ditsy gal, if only for laughs. Wasn't Mr. Hook-ah supposed to get a secretary? No one else wants her, so he should get her. And she can spill coffee on him, and mess up his phone calls, and run him over with a tractor. See, then everything will work out! :D

Lois is the comic relief at SC. It seems the more she tries to do things the right way, the more she screws up. I still can't understand why she decided to drive that stupid tractor!

Maybe she should go back to Don for remedial secretarial training! I hope she stays....

fifty two - you are funny! the two minutes lois has each episode always make me laugh - i say keep mad lois and ditch cosgrove. ken's storyline has been a snoozer, it has potential sharing the head of accounts with pete, but generally i'm bored with kc. besides, ken did bring the tractor to work!

There are so many brilliant Lois moments, I don't know where to begin...I loved that she held court, in the last episode of Season 2, sharing the inside scoop about PP&L, and that the gang of 4 held on her every word. She had such a triumphant look on her face, when she traded the inside scoop to get her off the switchboard! Go Lois!

They can't can Lois! Can Lane! Can Hooker! Can Ken! But no way would SC be the same without Lois...not to mention, not having Joan around either???? Yikes!
