No Contact With Roger Sterling
No contact with Roger?...Say it ain't so. How can we lose those after victory drinking bouts? Roger's waxing philsophical over what women want... He and Don dueling over oysters...Roger taking one for the road...Thats my car...Lights...No, no, they can't take that away from us...
The way Rog drops bald hints...
The way they sip whiskey...
The way they love to spar...No, no they can't take that away from we...
The way Don slapped him down...
The way Rog rode Mirabelle in...
The way he called Don "Rochester".. No, no they can't take that away from we...
The way Don seemed amused...
The moves Rog put on Betty...
The way they make us howl...No, no they can't take away Slattery...
No, they can't take Roger away from we...
It's Batman without Robin...Beatrice without Benedict...Matt Dillon without Festus...Henry Frankenstein without Praetorius...Lewis without Clark...Jefferson without Adams...Burns without Allen...Crosby without Hope...Lucy without Desi...
The lure of orange hair...
The bottom of the glass you couldn't see...
The way he called Pete Paul...No, no they can't take that away from we... No, they can't take that away from we...

beautiful, poetic, and so, so, so true...
Hi regertz!
Don and Roger were my favorite couple! Roger the comedian, and Don the straight man!
I've said before, I love their chemistry.
I am a little upset at Don that he would be this ticked off at Roger because he called Betty and tried to convince her to have Don sign the contract. Of course, Betty was clueless about Don's work.
Don has shown over and over that he is a control freak. Probably because he had no control in his life growing up.
Anyway...I will desperately miss this friendship! I wonder if Don will be uninvited to Roger's daughter's wedding?
Who will be Roger's foil? I treasure Roger's witticisms.
You have to ask yourself. Why was Roger so desperate for Don to sign the contract that he broke the man code and called Betty about it? Roger knows not to talk to the wife about the husband's business, especially if the husband isn't present.
At this point, Don neither knows nor cares. He wants nothing more to do with Roger. Of course, if I was Don, I'd make a little display put up on the window sill behind my office desk where everyone would see it upon entering. One of Alison's duties would be to keep it up daily. The years, months and days until the contract expires.
"I had never seriously considered leaving Cooper-Sterling but now I have an end date."
Roger's daughter's wedding? Only if Don's invited by Mona. Just to piss off Roger.
very good! I think a lot of people really like the two of them together. Not just the fans either. The people of SC as well. Bert even said in last weeks episode that he wanted them to reconcile. He said "Everyone wants Martin and Lewis!" The two together are almost like a comedy group!!

Yes, but remember Martin and Lewis broke up in '56 with fewer years together than Sterling and Draper.
