Ive noticed that this season Peggy has chaged her whole attitude. she went from sweet to more serious. i think shes trying to have people take her more seriously and maybe shes trying to discover how to act. what do you think?

How about posting this in the open thread?
I just mean you may get more answers there...
Dear Peggy! Sometimes I forget that she’s just in her early- to mid-twenties (though she looked all of 14 while singing into the mirror). She’s kind of an old soul and very practical. But she’s just trying to find out what her place in the world/company/dating scene is. She’s had to sacrifice some of her femininity to get her place at the office, but she needs to find a balance with that and her personal life. She’s jealous of how Joan and Anne-Margaret use their feminine wiles with ease. To top it off, she's getting messages from Don now about how her issues are affecting her work. He gets right down to the heart of the matter with Peggy not seeing how the Patio product should be promoted. He basically tells her she’s still in little girl-mode and needs to act like a sexual woman. I think the idea is driven home even more when Roger talks to her in the elevator about her father attending her wedding – obviously he only sees her as a little girl, like his daughter. So she tries to experiment with how far she can go with hamburger boy. She basically sneaks out without telling him who she is and makes it clear that there won't be a second date. She isn't really "that" girl, but she had to figure it out the hard way. She isn't going to show that at the office though, and comes back the next day like nothing's wrong.
I think you're right. She's simply growing up. She was always perceptive, but in this episode she was especially aware of the sexist/sexual comments from both male and female coworkers. Don's criticism of her regarding the Patio account was spot on, as it always is and she respects Don enough to listen to him.
This episode was certainly packed full of activity all around.
