Season 2 DVD set

I was thrilled to find that among the special features in the set are historical perspectives of the time!! I'm getting my history fix! I watched Part 1 of the evolution of the Women's Movement last night.
Any other Maddicts out there enjoying this too?

Hi Nora!
Thanks so much for welcoming me back! I am looking forward to talking to you also!!
Last night I watched part 2 of the Women's Movement, a great short about womens fashions through the 60's, and some 60's historical info.
The DVD set is great! During these historical spots, scenes from MM are mixed in. The DVDs also explain the shows like "The Defenders" and the movie "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance", and connects them to MM.

Can't wait for August 16th!

I really love your picture. Is that you and your Dad?
What a great way to remember him!
Take care, talk to you soon.

I can't wait until I get the dvd. I'm running around like crazy right now but I will settle soon and get it and relax watching the very interesting shows and extras.
I can't wait for August 16 either! Have you seen the billboards and posters around your city?? They are popping up everywhere here.
Talk soon!

Hi Nora!
I haven't seen much in the way of promo for Mad Men around here.

It seems strange that I haven't heard or read much about Michael Gladis. He is from a town in CT not too far away from me.

I haven't found many MM fans around here. I'm always explaining and promoting the show. This is probably why I love this Forum soooo much!

Hope you get to relax soon, remember, you have to rest up for the 16th!!
