I just read the elle article and in the first paragraph it says that Betty is seven months pregnant when the show starts again. That's barely a time jump at all!

Dry - the Kennedy tragedy was in the fall of 1963 (unless you live in Australia I suppose). I'm glad the show will take place during that time. Such a pivotal time in our history.

I can't help but think that Bert Cooper would be a Democrat today, wouldn't he? I find it odd that he would support Nixon when he seems so progressive. Or am I applying today's definitions inappropriately?
