.....That looks like fun.....The gift card is a nice touch.
Nice for only making the contest fit americans as usual. European fans mean nothing to you.
.....TyraL.....What is the viewing schedule for you there? Have you just finished Season 2?
My point is maybe they will have something similar for the premiere of Season 3 wherever you are..... you can always make a request here - someone might just see it.....
I don't get this whole "not speaking up" thing.....all these silent lurkers.....
Good God, isn't that exactly what a forum is all about???
After entering, I took a look at the fine print and it appears that I'm not even eligible to enter. Apparently, not only do you have to be 18 years of age or older, you also have to be a legal resident of California. So TyraL, not all Americans are eligible... only Californians. Boo! This Massachusetts resident would love to have a shot at attending the LA premiere!
.....Beautiful and majestic......

Gotta be a resident of California....hhmmmmmm
Oh well....damn!
Thanks for posting that, Dry, loved the song and the musicians.
Lovely music, there, Dry...enjoyed it.
.....zerelda..... Oh good, you're speaking to me - thought I peeved you off back there somewhere, you've been so quiet.
You guys haven't done your funny, tumbling predictions lately.....are you out of gas, or miss your old buds.....no idea how you come up with all those funny things.
Glad you liked the tune. Don't think I'd ever heard that one before. No idea how I end up at those places (I'm sparing you the rap ones, ha!) and it's totally troll-like to post them, but there's always that "ear bug" or whatever you called it a while ago, in the background, and it's fun to discover different new things.
Here's a question for you guys.....I was reading the AMC interview with Alexandra Patsavas, who mentioned Matt has pretty specific ideas about the music.
For those who were there, what music do you think would fit in well, or should be included in this series?
The comments on that thread were pretty knowledgeable, too.....

Oh, Dry, you silly girl, had I been peeved I would have made some snarky remark and given you a chance to be snarky right back. No, just going through some sad times here and became too busy to hang out with you all.
I was going back through the threads and noticed "they" are now advertising Frank Sinatra's music on your "Ill Wind" thread of a while back. I would think anything of his would have been playing back then. Frankie is sort of timeless, don't you think?
Hi Zerelda,
You take care!
I vote for Frankie, of course!
Plus, more Perry, and some Motown stuff, and Nat would be great, too...plus some Matt Monro..an underrated '60's singer...this song would be a good one for them to use as a "theme" for Pete's longing for Peggy in some epi:

Z...whatever you're dealing with that's sad, hope things are looking up for you by now..."That's Life" as Frankie says...and truer words were never sung....
Oh, I am fine, but we lost a great gentleman from our lives. My father-in-law passed away. He was just an absolutely dear man. He was in his 90's and ready for the next step in his journey, but we are all bereft and the poorer for his going. He lived his life with honor, dignity and a wonderful sense of humor that never left him. He was an excellent representative of that "greatest generation". I am just so glad we got to keep him with us for as long as we did. He raised some terrific children, my dear husband among them, and we are all going to miss "Pop" so much.
Loved the Matt Monro clip, SCfan, I had forgotten about him - what a gorgeous voice!
.....z.....A "love tap!" Mwah!
And, OMG.....So very sorry!
BEEN there, and it's just as bad as losing a parent, if you have the feeling.
I adored my father-in-law, and he died very recently of lung cancer.....
.....z.....I have it on good authority that the infamed "THEY" live in Chicago.......
.....So sorry.....
So very sorry, Z....hard to lose a beloved "other" Dad...both mine are gone now (my own sweet Dad (in 2006) and my "In-Law Outlaw" (as we called each other!) (this past April) loved them both. Both made it into their late '80's and were ready to "go", but, as you know, that doesn't make them missed any less....
...hang in there....thoughts and prayers, Dear Pal.
Dry, very sorry about your recent loss, too...it's hard to give them up...."blood" relative means nothing when the love is there, right?
