I think we can peg this photo at about 6-7 months after the end of S2 is we assume (1) that the newborn Betty's holding is the same child with whom she is pregnant at the end of S2 and (2) the luggage in Don's hand means that they're coming home from the hospital after the baby's delivery. I think that's the same blue Cadillac that Don bought in S2.

.....Pretty much sounds perfect.....

DannyS is right - it's probably Betty taking the new baby home from the hospital. Oh, a darling baby Draper! I can't wait until we see Don with a baby in one had and a cocktail in the other.

Thanks for posting this, but I regret looking now. Why do I spoil things for myself?

It doesn't spoil anything for me - it is just an enormous relief to know Season 3 is in the works and will actually happen. 'Sides, who knows what tricks Mr. Matt has up his sleeves - this could be a dream sequence for all we know, or it's 1965 and this is a flashback to Baby Draper's birth. Whatever, come August we will be in hog heaven (don't know what hog heaven is exactly, but folks around here say that a lot).

The cherry-pink, large-buttoned top that Betty is wearing seems to allude to the pink Chanel that Jackie K. was wearing on the assassination day, doesn't it?

Let's see, I was born on February 17th, 1963.

So I say that the baby in the swaddling clothes is..... ME!

....or a kind of symbolic version of me in Matt's tale...
