.....'Mad Men' Clips: Action, Romance, Comedy and Drama

AMC is attempting to show viewers that "Mad Men" has every element a show can possibly have. TV spots, averaging 30 seconds each, are released to give a sneak peek on what is to come on the third season which premiere is scheduled for August 10.

The new season will pick up where season 2 left off with Betty being pregnant with Don's baby despite her one-night affair with a random gentleman. In the "Drama" clip, the couple is struggling with being faithful and truthful to each other while in "Action", Don catches her in the act with Roger.

"Romance" displays the complicated relationship between characters as well as the hidden desires for somebody else. "Comedy", meanwhile, pulls down the notch with eccentricities of each character.

To be expected in the third season is a guest performance from British actor Jared Harris who will play a CFO to Sterling Cooper in at least 10 episodes.

.....Checking the IMDb, there are two new character names....."Carrie" and "Lola.

Based on the two character casting calls that were posted here recently, just curious where they would fit in, based on their photos.....

It seems that "Carrie" is the "midwife" part in the list...delivers a baby "in the late 1920's"...I have a good idea who that baby is...my opinion, anyway...

"Lola" is a SC secretary/flirt....

There are a lot of parts in that list...I guess they are spread out over S3 epis....can't wait!

That "Evangeline" part HAS to be DD's mother....

And an interior decorator and a couple Junior League members; sounds like the Drapers may be movin' on up. I still can't decide if they'll move or just redecorate.

Are there ever going to be any season three promos that feature season three? It's always the same footage from the first two seasons in these things. Come on AMC! Surely it's time for some season three promo photos to be released, at the very least!
