Mad Men Season Three Spoilers, Casting Notes

Mad Men, which returns later this year for its third season, is notoriously tight-lipped about its storylines.
Therefore, fans eat up any modicum of spoilers they can find. With that in mind, here's what we've learned about the season's fifth episode: it will be titled "The Fog," and the following casting notices have gone out to actors for it:
• A prison guard that his out of his element when away from his jail;
• A pair of advertising clients that hail from the Midwest;
• A no-nonsense nurse;
• A Grace Kelly-lookalike that is a suburban mom.
What impact will these roles have on season three storylines? We have no idea. But we'll be tuning in to Mad Men to find out!
.....In that vein, I just found this over at Basket of Kisses, where they posted this Emmy Round table discussion - which included Matt Weiner - from The Hollywood Reporter.....

And you HAVE to read this interview from The Hollywood Reporter (it's really too long to paste here)..... a really good inside perspective from John Slattery on "Roger Sterling".....

.....Yikes, I just read what Matt said about spoilers - hope I'm not in trouble!
Also, check this out from tvfanatic.com..... it answers some of the questions people have been asking here.....(if this is redundant info, apologies)

Mad Men Season Three Baby News

Season two of Mad Men ended with Betty informed her husband that she was pregnant.
Now, as the third season is set to premiere on August 16, creator Matthew Weiner wants to be clear: another Draper is on the way.
"[The child] belongs to Don," Weiner told Michael Ausiello. "For some reason there was some confusion about it because she was unfaithful, but there shouldn't be. It is Don's baby."
As previously announced, the third season will jump ahead a few years in time.
Thanks for all the links, Dry... esp. loved the article on John Slattery about "Roger".... in hindsight, can't imagine him playing Don Draper...if any actor was ever born to play the part of Roger Sterling, it's John Slattery!
Also, glad to read his "inside" view of Jon Hamm, glad to read he's nice to work with...like I've posted before, one of JH's best qualities is he hasn't let "it all" go to his head....yet...don't think any of the bunch have so far, anyway.
Left out is that Walker Percy wrote a book called Love Among the Ruins
