Also, I hope the Mad Men Mamas had a great Mother's Day...I know I'll leave someone out, but, let's see....there's Betty, Mona, Helen, Carla, and Peggy (whether she wants to be or not!)

Hope Don came through with at least some flowers and/or candy (with all he's put that woman through!)

No doubt Sally and Bobby gave her some sweet hand-made-with-love gifts, I hope!

And, poor Trudy....no Mother's Day for her yet!!!!

Some of us are "mothers" and some of us are "Muthas".

I once knew a man who had "mother" tattooed on his arm. In time, the E and R faded and it said "Moth". Don't ask me why I remember that-just a random headscrap.

Strange, but it just occured to me that we had Mothers Day about 3 months ago here...cultural differences.... Maybe its a bit like all of those words that we pronounce the same but have different spellings ie. Colour and...Color etc.etc.....

Happy Mothers Day to you all too. My poor Mother is back in the hospital. In fact she had to go in the hospital last Mother's Day.... weird.
Anyway she has Emphysema and all that goes with it but she's tough and hangs in there. Anyway If I could ask all you good people to say a prayer for her, I would appreciate that. I believe it works... :-)

Chelsea, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom...bless her heart....I definitely will send up prayers for her. I believe that prayer -- especially when many pray together, to be the 2nd most powerful force in the universe -- next to Love, I guess.

Positive energy and happy thoughts to you and your mom. It's tough! I went through it last December.

I have to second what z said up there, Chelsea...it's really easy to neglect your own health when caring for an ailing loved one...try to remember to attempt to get your rest and nutrition.

Very hard, I know, but do please try.
