Anybody notice the similarities between the SC offices and those on 'Better off Ted?"
And the main character, while he's a really funny guy, looks like a total Don Draper rip-off. I like the show, think it's really funny. But I LOVE Mad Men. They are definitely not in the same league. And it kills me that MM has influenced so many things (from fashion to other tv shows) yet still has such a small audience. I hope season 3 blows the doors off MM's ratings!!
I noticed a similarity myself watching the promos, sweetposey, esp. the DD "clone"... haven't seen it yet, but might give it a try....
__ Some similarities, yes... between Betty and Lisa Fremont (Grace Kelly) in "Rear Window". Her way to speak, etc.
I have watched "Rear Window" some days ago. It's quite amazing, funny; but also so sad, because Grace K. is dead.

Needs a lot of "Kiss kiss bang bang". A lot of blood, explosions, screams, drugs, crude sex, vulgarity (even in the temples of luxury) violence, superficial characters...
Hey, FrenchFan, this is Mad Men we are talking about, not Dynasty or Dallas. Both entertaining shows of the their time, perhaps, but never, ever of Mad Men's quality. Better a smaller audience for perfection than a huge audience that leaves us mourning the loss of Mr. Weiner's masterpiece.
