I like Basket of Kisses as much as anyone, but I get a bit tired of them being referred to as the main (or whatever) Mad Men site...what are we, chopped liver??

That's O.K., SCfan, a Basket of Kisses is just a lot of air when all is said and done. We here on the Mad Men Forum are the Chip and Dip Set - we've got substance - well, O.K., we also have a lot of hot air sometimes, but mostly we're known for our substance......I guess we are the chopped liver.....cracker, anyone?

.....Beside being uncannily plugged into the brain of Matt Weiner, the Lipp sisters are serious professional adults.

They are TRUE fans of the show, have a code of conduct, and they enforce it. They work hard, respect their posters, Matt and the show, and the posters, and the internet, respect them.

Why THEY haven't won at least one internet blog award is beyond me but very much tells me this whole award thing is all about politics, and who knows who on the internet. In other words - meaningless.

The flip side of BofK for me, at least, is that, while I very much worship at their shrine, that forum is a little confining for a crazy, big-mouthed beeyotch like me.

In the words of Bobbie Barrett, I like to go over there and be good, and then come over here and be bad....the best of both worlds!

Plus, I'm not much for the mind-melding - never was very good at it. I know Roberta and Deborah are the hands-down experts, but I also like to see what I come up with on my own.

Guess that makes me chopped liver too!!
