Has anyone watched the new NBC series "Southland"? If so, keep your eye out for Patrick Fischler (Jimmy Barrett). He plays a character called Kenny No-Gun.

I remember first seeing Fischler in David Lynch's MULHOLLAND DRIVE.
He was that young man in the Googie-style diner, recounting the dream he'd had of the horrible ogre lurking behind the building....
That was a wild cinematic moment, as it came apropos-de-rien.... and was never alluded to again in the story.
I remember Lynch saying he'd had all these little moments in his head--- that one included--- which he'd intended to later incorporate into a TV series. But then he decded to weave these disparate moments into one feature film: MULHOLLAND DRIVE.

Fischler's character here seemed so vulnerable and helpless; such a far cry ftrom "Jimmy Barrett".

i don't know if anyone else is aware of this but he has been on "LOST" for the entire season.
Yes, I have enjoyed both episodes of Southland so far. I hope that it continues to interesting. And Patrick was good in it, as well as the entire cast.

@samg - yeah, I remember seeing Fischler as Phil, one of the DHARMA employees on LOST. He gets punched in the face by Sawyer much like how Jimmy Barrett gets punched in the face by Don.
