A Mad Moment on 30 Rock

I can't believe this hasn't come up in the forum yet. On this week's 30 Rock, the character of Kenneth was poisoned with strawberries. Believing that he was dying from an allergic reaction, with his last breath he revealed his true name: Dick Whitman!

I started watching 30 Rock because of Jon Hamm's guest appearance and immediately loved it. While it could never replace my Mad Men, it does help during the long, cold stretch between season 2 and 3.

AL: Thanks for pointing that out! I didn't catch that on the first viewing of that episode but just went back to re-watch it. Hilarious.

I, like you, AL, did not watch 30 Rock until JH was on it...now I am hooked...which helps pass the months til MM S3....

sigh..."long, cold stretch" is right!

AL, I am SO glad you posted this! I watched that episode of 30 Rock and didn't believe my ears when I heard it. Too funny, now I know I'm not crazy!

Hysterical! I couldn't believe it either when I heard it! {I wonder if JH's appearances on the show inspired the one-liner?!} But, it's not surprising; this is one of the funniest, smartly-written comedies on TV. Tina Fey is a brilliant talent. If you haven't checked out this series, give it a go...it's well worth it.

This episode was hysterical...I loved Liz Lemon and her "night cheese", "Puerto Rican", and that weird blanket thingie she was wearing. I have never been a big fan of Alec Baldwin, but he really fits Jack D. to a tee - he is as good with this role as Jon Hamm is with Don D. He has great chemistry with Tina Fey, also. All the actors are great on this show, and I have really come to appreciate them and the writers. Wish I had been watching it from day one, now - oh, well.......
