Peyton List

The Friday 13 episode of Monk had Peyton List as a guest star. Of course all Maddicts know her better as "Jane Siegel" who became the other woman in Roger Sterling's life and bed.

On Monk Peyton played the magician's assistant to Steve Valentine, who actually is a well-respected magician. Roger Sterling will be thrilled to know the slang term for old-style magician's assistants is "box jumper" referring to the way those gals enter and leave the physical illusions. Roger probably has his own ideas about the term.
Peyton did a marvelous job.

In previous topics we have mentioned that Rosemary DeWitt is a series regular on The United States of Tara, shown on ShoTime. She plays the judgmental sister of Tara and does so very well.

I haven't ever watched Monk, but have heard it is quirky and fun...I will make a point to catch it and see for myself. Always like to catch our MM "alumni" on new shows.

I understand Tony S. was cancelled or ? on a different network, or he couldn't sell the show (or something to that effect) and then the network that finally did take Monk has now been able to flaunt the fact that they were smart enough to grab the show...kinda brings to mind the HBO situation and AMC, no? I'm sure they will never cease to kick themselves over that one! lol
