Does anyone know if Season II is scheduled to air again on AMC (I couldn't find it anywhere on this site) and/or when the DVD for Season II is scheduled to be released?

D'oh! Those two very questions are why I came to this web site today... I only wish I knew.
Seaon 2 is on DVD
Amazon has it

Actually, Amazon has it for PRE-ORDER. Season 2 hasn't been released yet. It'll probably be released in June or July.
Just in case there are some people out there that may have missed some details...
1) I'm pretty sure that Peggy gave the baby up for adoption. No, I'm sure.
2) Season 2 is suppose to be released in June, or July.
o.k. is it going to air again on AMC before it is released?

This is, indeed, a confounding an issue -
Why is it impossible to get an answer regarding when, or if, season 2 will be re-broadcast on AMC anytime soon? Obviously, there are other people, like myself, who were unable to view season 2 during it's original run this past summer and fall. How could it possibly be beneficial for AMC to keep this series sequestered away until the summer of 2009? The whole thing seems strange and bad for business.
If your feeling the need for a fix of S2 you can download the whole season on itunes. I have it on an ipod sure did help to pass the time while I was waiting for my car to be fixed. I will still probably buy the DVD in the summer cause I gotta have the commetarys from the cast. My favs are January Jones and the Jon Hamm and John Slattery combo. Vincent is a hoot too!!! Stupid me MW and Janie the "costume queen" were very interesting with their insights.
Really, what a terribly-managed debacle AMC has proved to be in their handling of this excellent show. It has generated some real buzz, Jon Hamm was great hosting SNL and will appear on the very popular 30 Rock soon, they're winning and being nominated for awards . . . and yet, AMC seems to be doing everything in its power to make sure that no one can actually SEE THE SHOW.
The DVD doesn't come out until July. No reruns are, as far as I can tell, forthcoming. What are they showing on Sunday nights that is so important? Heaven forbid they build a following that watches every week or attract new viewers. My cable system, Cox (a pretty big cable company), does not have Mad Men on its On Demand, despite what this incredibly unhelpful website says. And please don't ask me to spend $23 on iTunes to watch a tv show (that is made buy a channel I pay to subscribe to, no less) on my tiny 3" iPod screen.
I rented season one from Netflix this fall, got hooked, skipped the last two episodes of season two when they aired because I wanted to be caught up, then waited stupidly for them to rerun the season (or series) from the beginning. Still waiting. And they wonder why this show is on the endangered list! Inexcusable!
