I didn't find this clip amusing at all - I hope our darling Mr. Hamm was in on whatever the supposed joke was, but I must say he looked distinctly uncomfortable to me. But then again, maybe he was just acting that way as part of the non-existent joke?
I guess I am too old for that kind of dubious humor. I just wanted to smack that guy.

I'm with you Zerelda, smack away!!! I think Jon is a good sport if he knew what this guy was all about, but lets face it, there are better places to be interviewed than this.
z and holottawoman, I'm with you guys. It was just too hard to tell if JH was actually uncomfortable or just acting uncomfortable for the "inside joke"...too good an actor!
I feel like it is a generational thing (what's funny and what's not) although Don Rickles' insult humor can be hilarious sometimes.
Anyway, I agree that there are soooo many other interview venues that would be much better to publicize our Adored JH.
You people who are whining about how this isn't funny have no sense of humor at all. Sorry there wasn't enough slapstick or fart jokes.
And the point of going on Between Two Ferns isn't to get interviewed. Quite contrary, Between Two Ferns is the anti-talk show.
