I have been a Madmen fan for along time now, but I must tell you that Season 4 has to be some of the most original and thought provoking episodes
I have ever seen in dramatic series.This season, I really can't wait to see the sneak preview of next week's episode. Also, if John Hamm doesn't win the Emmy next year then I'll know there is something seriously wrong with the voters! I really just wanted you to know how much I appreciate Madmen and what a great cast you have..Thanks-Patty

Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner has fired Kater Gordon, his personal assistant, turned writers assistant, turned Emmy-winning staff writer. But why? Gordon had a metoric rise to the top, peaking with an Emmy win.
Finke offers one explanation from a source in the show...

From the beginning, Matt has fought to get people approved by the studio which almost always lobbied for him to hire more experienced people instead."

Dear Mr Weiner
It was a breath of fresh air to read that you were not prepared to compromise your vision of Mad Men by: 'intergrating product placement into the series, cutting two minutes from each episode for more advertising breaks and culling two regular cast members to save money'.
Mad Men is a truly wonderful show at every level: quality writing, acting, set design, costume, attention to the period detail - I could go on. And I would hate to see it compromised like so many other shows seem to be.
I hope you stick with your guns and win through!
