I very much hope you do another season. I know Mad Men didn't have a big viewing audience but people didn't know about it.
At parties or social gatherings it sometimes is the only show mentioned. It is a #1 favorite of several people I know. I hope, hope, hope it continues....a BIG fan. Karen Schwartz

This show is amazing and so important today. It takes place during the dawning of the credit card, the hyper ad man pitch to buy buy buy, the post war consumer.
The accuracy and devotion to detail is the best I've ever seen in my fifty years of TV watching.
It needs to be advertised better. People are hearing about it, but they don't realize it is not on a premium channel. Perhaps it should go non cable and give the other networks a boost.
I'm a huge fan, bought three of the DVDs to give as Christmas gifts this year.

Does anyone remember the ill-fated "Arrested Development"? Fox ended its run after not even 3 seasons. Like MM, it had killer writing and was light years ahead of shows like Seinfeld, et al. This is tv for people whose brains don't want to be lazy, which is why shows like these don't stick around for very long. Sadly, mainstream America would rather slack off in terms of its viewing habits. How else would you explain the long run of "Friends" and "The Nanny"...even the pointless "The Real World" on MTV keeps going! Don't get me started on reality tv. Again, the absurdity is still going strong.

Then there's "ER," which is still on the air as we speak, but God knows why. I mean, George Clooney left a long time ago. That show made him the megastar he is today. Isn't it Jon Hamm's turn to be People's Sexiest Man Alive? I think so.

I kinda want Jon Hamm to keep to charatcer and maintain his low profile.. I think it adds to his alure. There aren't enough strong silent types around anymore.. Matter of fact, I feel that if he does much more tv or interviews in the next year or so, they should all be in B/W... If he works it right, it could signal the beginning of an even more mega career.
