Jon Hamm in a GAP ad

I was thumbing through the numerous ads in the December Vanity Fair magazine when lo and behold there was Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt ! They look like the beautiful couplemodeling those clothes.Jon looked very un Don Draper, nevertheless still the sexy beast with his five o'clock shadow. Jennifer is one lucky lady.I wonder who else is going to pop up in ads during the off season?

madmanfan4ever: Thanks for the heads-up. I totally missed that ad while perusing thru Vanity Fair.

I've never seen Jennifer Westfeldt in anything. Is she any good? Have you ever seen her act? She sure is one lucky lady! Why aren't they married, I wonder?

Yes, madmanfan4ever, I saw that Gap ad also - what a gorgeous man he is! I love him as Don Draper, but I gotta say, when I see him not being Don, he is even better looking and really seems like a real sweetheart of a guy.

Did you also happen to notice page 176, in the Hot Gifts section? A lovely little bauble just perfect for Miss Joan Holloway - an "antique silver and gold striped pen on an engraved link chain" - a mere $1,850 - what a bargain! I wonder if Santa would bring me one?

@Gail The only movie I've seen Jennifer Westfeldt in is the one she also wrote and produced "Kissing Jessica Stein" which was a delightful picture that came out in 2002. She was really good in the lead along wit the other actress.Jon Hamm has an itty bitty part in the early part of the movie, a dinner table scene where Jessica's friends are trying to set her up wit him, only to find out he as a girlfriend and is taken.
I've seen this movie probably 3 times because they had it on rotation on HBO. The soundtrack is really good too (We'll Take Manhattan").
@zerelda.I just glanced at the hot gifts section....probably because the gifts are so outrageous I can't even fathom having that kind of disposable income to drop on high priced gifts. I will look it over again to see the "Joan" pen.By the way, they make those pens, maybe not as slick as Joan's but I have one, it's on a faux lizard cord and i never wear it because I'm afraid I'll lose it.I bought it 3 years ago.
I'm curious where the set stylists got those cigarette holders that Rachel and Bobbie used when they were smoking. it made the nasty habit look glamourous.

Hi Gail, I think Jennifer W. has also written/starred in another movie called "Ira and Abby" in the indie genre which got pretty good reviews when it came out a couple years ago. Anyone seen this?

From what I've read they seem quite happy status quo and don't plan on getting married unless kids are involved (what a gene pool!).

And speaking of that gene pool, two more magazine spreads coming up in December for Jon, including a GQ cover and Vogue. A nice Christmas present for those of us suffering already from MM withdrawal...
