thoughts on the show & the 60s

I was 'alive and kickin' in the 60s, and i enjoy ManMen time trippin' Me back to my younger days. just some comments for Mr, Matt, and the writers; (1) The wardrobe for this period is 'right-on'. (2) Your mixture of background music is very good, and symbolic - great job,

(3) The constant smoking by the show's characters is very correct, (parents, relatives, and others really did 'chain-smoke' constantly, (4) Parentsthosedays really did 'lay their hands on their children as shown, much more than at present, today's viewers don't understand this, (5) While I wasn't present in downtown Manhatten, I don't remember as much constant drinking of 'hard stuff; during a normal workday, and shown in the show by most everyone, all the time. (6) And, from my husband - where in the show is is the average guy's constant concern and conversation about sports. This was the great & golden period in most pro sports, ie; Mickey Mantle & the Yankees, Sam Huff, NY Giants - Johnny Unitas, Baltimore Colts, NFL. From our experience talk about sports was constant and wide spread among guys in those days.

The show is very interesting, and entertaining. The writing is very good. The 1960s representations are excellant. We look forward to each sunday night's show, the hour goes so quickly, and we like to watch each more than once to catch all the excellant details. Thanks again Mr. Matt -Luv Ya
