STD'S

With all the various fornicating going on, who do you think will end up with the clap first? Or will this issue ever even be addressed on MM?

Dashel, I've posted in the past about this very thing. It's hard to believe Don and Roger (Pete, too, but less risk) haven't had at least one bout of the syph or the clap in all their years of carousing. Oh well, back then all that was needed was a shot of penicillin, no incurables yet.

Oh, forgot about Ken, he's just as big a skirt chaser as anyone. Plus, Joan....although her recent victimization by Greg the Doctor has me concerned more for her emotional well-being than her sexual health.

Hi Dashel!
SCfan is right, syphllis and gonorhea were treatable.
Usually men would report the symptoms because they were uncomfortable.
There was also that wonderful pubic lice "crabs". Back then, these disease were not fatal, as long as they were treated.
Women could have been exposed to STD's, not had symptoms, and later in life developed pelvic inflammatory disease.
I wonder how many women of that era could not become pregnant because of PID, and didn't know it?

I doubt it will be addressed on MM, but, you never know...

I just had an icky thought. I wonder if that's what's wrong with Betty now, rather than pregnancy? I mean, she's been sharing Don with a LOT of other females, including sleazy types like Bobbie who have been with the entire Yale football team or whatever. God knows what Don has given her.
EWWW.
