PETE AND PEGGY BABY??

How old will Peggys baby be before Pete finds out that it is his? We went practically the whole season without much to do with the baby. I believe the baby is 2 yrs now. Is the priest trying to get Peggy to take care of the child? There doesnt seem to be a connection to Peg and Pete anymore. Has this story angle died?

Dude, its obvious the preist is trying to get Peggy to take care of the baby and I honestly think that the Peggy and Pete story is opening to a new angle of tension. Peggy is obviously pissed with Pete abt her being pregnant and mainly with herself for doing with a guy that was married and could never be with her... DUH!

Pete will find out tonight.

Wasn't her sister pregnant at the same time?
Are we sure that the blonde baby is peggy's?

mangolo??? get a serious life... you have too much 'tude. it was a mere question. for a follow-up.. Peggy is not "pissed" at anything. not at doing it with a married man. she is the opitome of climbing the ladder dispite the setbacks. she is not upset. she still is sensitive and relatively happy ( duh) the other responses... thanks for the opinion

Key words from Peggy: I could have shamed you into marrying me, but I wanted more. She's not pissed.

right on schroobs. She not pissed. she knew that telling Pete any earlier would have ruined his marriage and possible her job. emember, she didnt even know she was until she went to the doctor in the last scene ( last season). what i am wondering, will Pete try to take this baby of theirs and make it a baby of his and Trudys? i would love to see some magic between Pete & Peg. wouldnt that be a great season!?

Peggy's confession to Pete was in lieu of her inability or non-desire to take confession with her Priest. She's not looking to be forgiven for anything. She made a decision to rely on herself, not a man, a god, or an agent of God. Go peggy!

Peggy's new religion is advertising, the dogma of the new enlightenment of this age, not some crusty and stale version of catholicism represented by the repressed Priest who has to undress his vestments before launching into a "rockin" song about reeeeligion. He's so hard up for Peggy, he can't express himself any other way then to tell her that she must confess her sin, and his mission is to reach her. Yeah, right...he's reaching for her, but with his repressed unconcious. How Freudien.

Pete is too little too late. Peggy has moved on, and she asks Pete, "why would you not tell me the truth." He has after all been brutally honest with her.

Pete, the Priest, and Don are the men of the new Trinity in her life, and it's a great construct. Her devotion to Don is justified, considering he is the only one who actually gives a damn about her life, apart from his. Fascinating!!!
