samg, I think the ones who need to "pay the man" (MW) are Lionsgate, not AMC. Not sure, but I think that's the case, anyhoo...and I agree, they need to pay the guy what he's worth, if possible.

An Emmy for Best Drama has to be worth something, so I agree..PAY THE MAN!! I'd hate to see this going to HBO, who already screwed up by letting it go the first time. Stand your ground Weiner, you have a winner here! Cheers! ;o)

Are you people really watching this show? The first season was great.....story, character development, and....advertising! This season has been all soap-opera! I can't bear to watch another episode.

Chalk it up as another 'sequel' that under-performs....Star Wars 2, S[iderman 2, Indiana Jones 2, .....get it? Season 2 and seasons 3-x are/will be......lame!

I totally disagree with direct-marketing-guy. When the show first aired I thought it was very slow moving and boring,but by the third episode I was hooked.
Thank God I gave this show a chance, it has just gotten better and better. The characters have been developed in such away that has made them more complex and yet understandable. Unlike other series shows the writers never have their characters behave against type thereby insuring the loyalty of this fan and many others I'm sure.
