Happy Halloween!!
To all my fellow Maddicts...have fun! And remember what Linus said: "There are three things I've learned to never discuss...religion, politics, and The Great Pumpkin!"

Amen to that!
60'schild,
That was so cute!
Happy Halloween Maddicts! It's too quiet around here ...... :(
Happy Halloween to you, too, 60's child. You are partaking of the Book Club and the Maddicts Movie Madness, I hope?
BOOK CLUB: Nov 16, Frank O'Hara's "Meditations in an Emergency"
MOVIE CLUB: Last week of November, Billy Wilder's "The Apartment" with Jack Lemmon, Shirley MacLaine, Fred MacMurray.
Glad to see Halloween Cheer come to the Maddicts. Here's my own personal tribute.
AndrewO,
That was fantastic. My Mom a great artist thought it was the best!
@Nora: Thanks! It was a labor of love.
AndrewO:
Totally amazing! Good for you!
Hi gang!
Thanks for the Halloween greetings!
Hi AndrewO!
Now THAT is a Great Pumpkin!! Fantastic job!!
Hi jamm54!
I hope to join the book club, and movie madness!
Thank you for asking!
Happy Halloween to you 60's child. Hope you didn't get any rocks in your Halloween pumpkin this year. Did Linus ever make it out of the pumpkin patch this year? Kids can't even pick pumpkins out of a pumpkin patches anymore due to liability laws!! Where has our world gone? As Roger would say, "God I miss the 50's"
Cheers ;o)
Hi Andrew O! FANTASTIC PUMPKIN! Very talented!
EVERYBODY: Join the Book Club discussion on November 16 for "Meditations in an Emergency"
****OR****
Maddicts Movie Madness, "The Apartment" last week of November!
.....a belated "BOO" to everyone!
Andrew O.....that is beautiful....how did you achieve that?
That pumpkin is waaaaaay cool! Good work!
Drink&Smoke...poor lil Linus! "....another rock..." sigh...lol
Andrew O: Fantastic carving! Now for Christmas, can you make a Dutch colonial from Ossening ginger-bread house?
Thanks everyone. Predictably, the squirrels got to it the next day. I'll spare you all the gory aftermath of a headless Draper. It was sad though.
@Dry Manhattan: I achieved it by believing in myself and persevering. Actually, I just stared at the picture while drawing it out. The collar was the toughest part – I felt like I would cut off his head if I touched it again, which was obviously sub-optimal.
@dd: I don't think so! Like the Pumpkin King, my powers are limited to Halloween. :)
.....AndrewO.....Honestly, originally I just thought it was Photoshopped, but now that I look again, I can see the candle in there, which DOES look real....(it's hard to tell any more!)
That is amazing - I can't believe you carved that. Thanks for sharing.
(P.S.: Nothing like posting to yourself on a dead thread - ha!)
