Don Draper

I love this show. Don Draper reminds me of the early James Bond played by Sean Connery and he talks like Rod Serling of Twilight Zone.

I would like to see more current events of the early 60's such as Kennedy and his extramarital affairs that many people knew about but was never allowed to become public. Also Frank Sinatra, the rat pack and organize crime were big secrets during that period.

I would like to see more of Betty Draper's private life. Her sex fantacies while her husband is away and the young neighbor boy who would like to watch her undress.

I like Joan Holloway because she is such a strong woman but I can't stand her new boyfriend. I hope he's gone soon.

I hope they expose more of the advertising tricks that were and still are played on all of us.

Hope this show has many more seasons.

Want advertising tricks?

There's a book called The Hidden Persuaders. I believe it was written in the late 50s or late 60s. Check it out.

I don't know about Rod Serling (voice is different) but his entire look after he left the conference in "Jet Set" was solid Sean Connery's James Bond. Including riding away with the one-named quasi-Bond girl "Joy.". Which is why so many thought Dick/Don might also be a spy.

Come to think of it, the entire "Nomads" group could have easily fitted into any number of the early Bond films from "Goldfinger" onwards..

I also like Don Draper show and I always like to watch it. My friend told me that sexy Dylan Ryder was participating in one scene but I have to admit that I have not seen her. Has anyone known is it the true? Well, I will be waiting for all your answers because I really want to see this scene. Thanks a lot one more time for sharing it.
