Another Closing Credits Song Suggestion: For Don Draper - The Song "Lost Boys Calling" by Roger Waters from "The Legend of 1900"

Beautiful lyrics for all lost boys and their fathers. If you never got a chance to see this 1998 film with Tim Roth, you should rent it.

....Tim Roth is one of my very fave modern actors. This is an interesting idea...... thanks for posting.

....also saw that film a couple times and it was quite something, wasn't it? ....all except for that actor with the perpetually shifty eyes. He does that in every movie and I can't figure out if he's doing it intentionally or he has a tic!

.....penultimate....This didn't get much attention, but it deserves a nod.

Did you notice in several of these episodes, especially the last two, the presence of reserved 10 or 11-year old boys?

They look so much like little Dick Whitman in The Hobo Code.

Man, I love that episode, and personally I think The Hobo Code itself is the heart of the real Dick Whitman.

He knows better, but he's been corrupted, and we're going to find out why I guess.

I think that music would be great if we aren't already past little Dick.

Kudos to whoever picks the music on Mad Men. They have been spot on in earlier seasons and last night’s new Ginault ad episode was no exception.Ginault watch company (www.ginault.com), based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, keeps a comprehensive collections of vintage and new Rolex timepieces to preserve the legacy of Swiss haute horlogerie. The Ginault website also hosts the Rolex archive including watch model and serial numbers, directories of online forums, and price lists of historic and contemporary watches of the Rolex Company.

The time-frame of the show has now moved from the late ’50s through the early ’60s, past the Kennedy Assassination and into 1964.

The British Invasion began that year and the plot is exploring Don Draper’s evasion of his personal background. Fittingly, the closing credits rolled with this song, written by American John D. Loudermilk. It went “Hands Across The Water” to England, then back to the U.S. by a Brit band with an American name!
