but more importantly not loving this story line. don draper and betty are getting weirder every week, too dark. the first season so much better, would love to see more in the agency in the city. gotta love that jon hamm, will for sure be next year's sexiest men

@rick2batz.I thought the same thing myself.Anna had that limp walk and I assumed it was polio too! There wer so many similarities between Anna and the Svetlana woman. Don was really able to unload on her and talk about his fears.If I remember correctly,that's what Tony did w/ Svetlana.Anna did bear a resemblence to Svetlana.It makes you wonder how many more scripts will have a bit of the "Soprano" influence.

Yes, I thought the same thing. I think its the same actress who had the one leg on the Sopranos. Don't know her name though.

Yes, I, too, thought the actress who plays Anna was the same actress who played Svetlana...and that possibly she really does have something wrong with her leg...otherwise, the similarities must be an inside joke with the writers, I guess. I love Don and Anna together because Don/Dick can really be himself with her.

Well, I just Googled it...Sveltana was played by a woman named Alla Kliouka Schaffer and Anna is played by Melinda Page Hamilton. I really thought they were the same actress, this is spooky because they do look alike.

I thought they were the same actress too. They look VERY much alike, both have a limp, etc.
I've posted elsewhere (on the "Anna Draper" thread) that I'm not a big fan of this character. I disagree with the warm and fuzzy stuff others have said about her... how she's a loving "earth mother" and all that. I think the character comes across as rather smug. Incidentally, I felt the same way about Svetlana on "The Sopranos"--- they seem to be identical characters. Just don't feel the love for her.
