What an interesting article. I also have a theory that Mad Men is severely underexposed. It is in a very difficult time slot. It is also a cable production and it appears that shows like Entertainment Tonight take little time to highlight the show while they constantly flaunt the network productions. Just take the recent awards it has won. Just a bare slip of mention on Entertainment Tonight was made about Mad Mens success while other winners received excessive amounts attention.
They actually made references to MM in the Nov. issue of Cosmo. (Please don't judge- it was my roommate's and I was beyond bored).
They also featured a photo of Joan in her red dress in an article telling you how to get ahead at work...should they really be using her as an example?
