Who thinks little Sally is going to start sneaking drinks?

I mean she already knows how to make drinks and they don't keep it locked up, so how long before she's hitting the sauce? Especially if home life gets any worse. Now with mommy and daddy's impending rift.

Hotcho,
She already did hit the sauce, remember the episode when she went to the office with Don and Betty took son to ER?

Oh yeah Hotcho,
I just posted an answer to you on the "What would happen if Betty..." Blog. See comment on Don!!!!

YOUR RIGHT! I totally forgot about that. She's gonna be a mess in a few more years (tv years of course)

She's so enamored with her father. Like he can do no wrong. Daughter with father syndrome. I wonder if she'll be around to find out about his philanderings and how she'll react.

Nora, you're my kind of poster!!!! You've got your MadMen stuff together! To quote my husband, "You're pickin' up what I'm puttin' down."

Oh yeah Hotcho!!

I think Sally drank it out of curiosity. She's certainly had enough access and mixed drink training although the proportions were out of sight. There wasn't much left in that glass and an empty glass fell down when Don picked her up before leaving the office. How much did she drink vs. how much got spilled?

If she finds out he's philandering (probably by Francine talking) she's still Daddy's girl and would look for a husband like Daddy. Mommy's not the greatest role model as a mother.

Definitely!

Sally will likely experiment with drugs given the time period. Instead of asking Alice it'll be "Go Ask Sally".

fuzzmuffin: I love your Hello Kitty-too cute!

I recall my dad in 1965 taught me to mix him a 'high-ball' which was a shot of seagram's 7 (the smell was vile - like turpentine) by using a shot glass and three ice cubes. Then topping it with club soda. He was not an alcoholic by any means but it was something I did if he asked me when he came home from work. I was 10 years old at the time. If anything, the stench from the whisky revolted me big time!

My big thrill was to eat the maraschino cherry from my father's Manhattans.

Redhead64: Agreed. Sally will probably be experimenting with drugs in the late 60's - early 70's. And thanks for your kind words about my "download" post! I'm glad it made you laugh!

The way things are going in the Draper household, she won't have to sneak a drink!
