Roger's Rock Bottom

What would be Roger hitting rock bottom: Losing the young squeeze and being rejected? Mona not taking him back? Or being free and single, indulging all of his dissolute habits until they destroy him? Does anyone think Roger would be capable of digging himself out of this hole or would Don have to help him (if he chose to)?

You know, I still really see crass and cavalier, Devil-may-care Roger carrying a torch for Joan. I see him on one knee begging Joan not to marry the doctor. I don't think he can go back to Mona and she's probably fed up...probably thought if the heart attack didn't set him straight, he's hopeless. I'd really like to watch this again On Demand but for some stupid reason, Episode 9 is not on the menu yet!! Grrr! (Oh, and Don will have very little effect on Mona, IMHO. Don has his own hole to claw out his way out of. If anything, maybe the two will be roomies. Now THERE"S a concept! Can you see these guys sharing a bachelor pad?? What a hoot.)
